In 1995 the council of the European Circuit Society - ECS - decided to create a Web site with information of interest for the members of the society. From here we intend to make links by e-mail and www to appropriate places of interest. We kindly invite the members (and other visitors interested in electrical and electronic circuits and systems) to send by e-mail to the editor of these pages any suggestions and ideas concerning this service (incl. correction of misspellings and other errors as well as HTML tips and suggestions of links to interesting pages on the www).
Thank you to all the visitors for the feed-back comments since the start. Unfortunately we can not guarantee our visitors answers to all their e-mails due to lack of resources.

Editors remark:
The "mot" of these pages is "make it simple".

The philosophy being that all these pages should have the same "genes" i.e. they are considered "cells" in a "body" with the same basic construction: "Head" and "Tail" (H&T) is common for all pages. From H&T you have e.g. links to the main page. The "nerves" of the "body" are the links. The lines of the source code of the pages have a max. size of 80 characters.

JAVA will only be used if it serves serious needs. Making JAVA BUTTONS e.g. is simply overdone when a small GIF-file will do.

"FRAMES" will of-course be anathematized.

Please take a look here to see why
The Famous Keyhole Approach to Web Page Design, actual size 28% of screen
i.e. unpleasant use of fixed FRAMES.

If YOU insist on making use of frames then PLEASE visit (this page) and study carefully, it is indeed possible to avoid horizontal scrolling and let the frames adapt automatically to the screen and printer with movable borders and scroll bars only if necessary.
If you don't believe me then please ask Jakob Nielsen about the Top Ten Mistakes in Web Design and the Top Ten Mistakes in Web Management. - Why Frames Suck (Most of the Time) by Jakob Nielsen - Web Pages That Suck by Vincent Flanders

This page is frame free

It is the intention that these pages written in HTML language should be readable with any browser. Please report if it is not the case. I try my best to obey The 10 Commandments of HTML, believe it or not.
